Day 1 - Activity

During the trip towards Seliba, you'll make a stop for an interactive cassava workshop. Mrs. Edna will show you everything about processing cassava, and you'll get hands-on with this traditional product. Of course, you'll also taste all the delicious treats made together.

Afterward, it's time to continue by bus to Ayo plantation. From there, you will board the boat and slowly see Seliba River Glamping appear in the distance.

Time for the luxury camping adventure.

At Seliba, 'nothing' is required, but anything is possible. Are you a true water lover? Then hop on one of the paddle boards that are ready for you. Want to just relax and cool off? You can also unwind by the edge of the pool.

Nighttime activity!

On an adventure for the true camping feeling! Today, we are excited to take you into the jungle for a hike. Together with your guide, you will attempt to spot nocturnal animals. The jungle is full of colorful frogs, hissing snakes, and much more. Put on your rubber boots (no worries, we have some to lend) or good hiking shoes. Headlamp on, light up, sound off, and start spotting.

Afterwards, it's time to enjoy the crackling campfire, relax in the hot tub, or have an authentic game night in the cozy lounge.

Day 2 - Activity

Wake up wonderfully to the sound of howler monkeys. These monkeys live on the small island opposite Seliba. Every morning is a true concert of monkey roars and chirping birds. Seliba is the place where you can see rare birds up close. The toucans and hummingbirds literally fly around you.

After breakfast, you depart by boat towards the Jodensavanne. Here, you dive into the history of the first Jewish settlement in Suriname during the tour. This site has been a UNESCO World Heritage site since 2023. You return to Seliba for lunch.

You have plenty of time to relax in this lovely spot. As the sun sets, you can seek the adventure of the jungle with an exciting evening walk.

Day 3 - Activity

In the early morning, you will head out onto the water for a special boat tour. During this Early Morning boat tour, you will sail along the banks, where with a bit of luck, you may spot various animals. At the same time, you can enjoy the tranquility and the beautiful morning glow from the water. A unique way to start the day.

After breakfast, you still have time for a refreshing dip in the pool or some activities on the river. You can take a stand-up paddleboard out on the water or cast a fishing line. Once we’ve had lunch, it’s time to say goodbye to this magical place in Suriname. Time to trade your glamping tipi for the bus ride to Paramaribo.
